Purchasing the Prerelease version
What is the pre-release version?
The Pre-release version (Currently Beta 3) is a work-in-progress version of nukeationMachine.
It is missing a few convenience features and "polish" but is otherwise
very stable and usable in a production environment.
What is the main benefit of buying it now, instead of when the final version is released?
You get to use it now, instead of 45 to 60 days later. And you get a 30% discount
off the final price.
What is the feature difference between the prerelease and final versions?
Only a few minor differences exit between the two versions. The search system does
not contain all keywords. For example, if you enter Option in the search, you will
get Radio buttons, but if you type Radio it will not return results. Some minor
bugs remain that affect final performance but do not reduce functionality or productivity
in major ways. Documentation files are not yet available. Otherwise, it is essentially feature complete.
During the period between Beta 3 (the current pre-release version) and the final
version, we intend to issue minor upgrades as we continue to finalize the code.
Can I use it on a production machine?
Yes. The current release is stable enough to use on a production machine.
What will the upgrade process from Beta 3 to Final Release be like?
The upgrade process will be seamless. You will receive a new setup file, and it
will automatically upgrade your installation without any form of manual intervention.
